Price the Class to Include an item or two (ie. the Envelope Punch $19.95) and Add $10 to the Class.  All MUST Be Pre-Paid (see a PayPal to accept direct payment, the Square, Intuit - they all have CC processing tools at a lower %) and Accept Payment before the class.  Order the items for all who pre-pay!  They come to class, have a new tool that you demo how to use, you earn the hostess benefits and a BONUS... if they Order $30-$35 in Merchandise (perfect for the new Envelope Liners, and a Pkt of Paper??) you offer them a $10 discount (the padding you added to the class).  So 10 People = a MINUMUM of a $200 Order +++++ ANY Bonus Orders they place... you can easily build a CLUB with this Route!!
